Newest driver in town

Well, Travis has passed the written test, and now has his beginner's drivers license. Let the games begin! He has been out a couple times in Todd's SUV (which has a standard transmission), and had a spin in his grandparents' car (automatic transmission). He likes theirs better, but if he wants driving time, he'll have to make do with the SUV. His ultimate goal is to drive my sporty 6-speed Matrix... *gulp* Luckily, he can't go anywhere by himself for the next year - legally, that is. Eric is studying the manual, and wants to write the test next week. Imagine, two 16 year olds learning to drive in the same house... What fun. Anyway, here's a shot of the happy Travis, keys in hand (with his Nan (Sharon) Inkpen):

Wha...?

Hey! Why am I strangely compelled to keep fooling around with this blog thing? Todd has been teasing me - he says I am a geek and need to get a life, maybe go outside now and then. I would, but I don't have an extension cord long enough to get out the front door :o) He's got a lot of nerve, though - every time we need to make a list, he heads for the Excel... I think a pencil and piece of paper have their uses. Anyway, here's a pic of my darling Eric, just before I call the guys in the white jackets to come and get him:

Just another test, while I have a few minutes to fool around. This is a photo of our new house. Next I have to figure out how to add a title to these posts :o)
I guess I should post something here, just to see if it works. Then, myself and some of the resident boys (namely Travis and Eric) will go out for a junk food supper. The other boys (Todd and Jamie) are not home, so they will have to just starve :o) Toodle-ooo for now.
